On Saturday June 14 I was very honored to receive the 2014 Connecticut Governor's Art Award for lifetime achievement in literature. The ceremony was held at the Yale University Art Gallery. My fellow honorees were Christopher Plummer and Tim Prentice, and Governor Dannel Malloy presented us with the award. My family was there, along with close friends, and we had a wonderful day.
